- Choose your major based on your academic interests; attend the "Thinking about Your Major" workshop.
- Not sure of your career interests? Take an assessment to identify your interests through the Career Center.
- Research specific careers and job markets through career-related alumni panels, O*Net and the Career Center's library.
- Learn from experts in your interest area: find alumni contacts through the Career Center and do informational interviews or job shadow.
- Identify and join activities that allow you to develop skills related to your career goals.
- Get real-world insight into job areas that interest you.
- Consider attending a City Semester Program during your junior year.
- Find a related summer job.
