Upcoming Events to Look Out For
Nonprofits: Ways to Contribute Alumni Panel:  If you have an interest or are considering the possibility of nonprofit work as a future career, come to this panel! The Career Center is hosting a Nonprofits: Ways to Contribute Alumni Panel on Tues., Oct. 27 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in Lynn 120A. Topics to be discussed include opportunities within the field, a typical day at work, how to break into nonprofits, and more. Registration is encouraged via careercenter@hanover.edu.
Indiana Means Business Career Fair:  The Indiana Means Business Career Fair is taking place on Wed., Oct. 28 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Indianapolis Downtown Marriott (350 W. Maryland St.).  Students of all classes are welcome to attend this career fair, co-sponsored by Hanover. Be sure to register through the Career Center by Oct. 13, attend a prep workshop, and read through our prep tips. For more information about this career fair, reach out to the Career Center or visit the event's webpage.

Internship Opportunities
C. H. Robinson Intern:  C. H. Robinson in Louisville is seeking a summer intern to learn about the logistics and transportation industry. Applicants should be current juniors or seniors studying Business, Communication or a related major. Apply online here.
Premium Seat Sales/Event Coordinator Intern:  Live Nation Entertainment in Indianapolis is looking for a Premium Seat Sales/Event Coordinator intern to learn about the sales process and event planning. This position is unpaid but Live Nation is willing to work with professors to offer college credit. Apply online here.
STEM Interns: Roche Diagnostics in Indianapolis is seeking Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) summer interns. Applicants should be current STEM students with a GPA of at least 3.0 who are looking for an intensive 12-week paid internship program. Apply online here.
Career and College Counselor:  The Scott County Community Foundation is seeking an intern to serve as a Career and College Counselor by assisting high schools with counseling students on career and college plans. Join clubs, attend meetings, go to events - take advantage of the organizations on campus to find the causes and activities that resonate with you.  Once you've found "your thing(s)" stay active and take leadership roles to help expand your experience and your marketable qualifications.
