PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY - You MUST have a strong résumé
Writing a strong, effective résumé is one of the most demanding parts of preparing for your job or internship search. A great document requires background research and numerous drafts. Underestimating any of these components will keep you out of the running and out of the job. Attend a workshop to get started and contact the Career Center for an appointment to help you polish your document and get the hiring manager's attention for all the right reasons. You can pick up a copy of the Career Center Résumé Guide outside of our office in Lynn Hall or download it at http://careercenter.hanover.edu/documents/ResumeGuide2016.pdf.
